Step 1

Excavate your site
as per your requirements (for one or multiple tanks)
Step 2
Compact 50mm of
fill material in base of excavation
Step 3
Lift the tank/s into
hole and fill the tank with water.
(Please note that
the lifting hooks are not rated and care needs to be taken if lifting at any height
use slings around tank baffles)
Fit manhole cover
(and also for drive way installs. Tanks support ring and riser)
Tape up around
manhole to stop fill or concrete from getting into your tank
Step 4

Wash in another
50mm of fill material to fill cavities around the
support feet of
the tank/s
Step 5
Connect up tank/s
and plumbing required before placing and
Compacting layers
of fill material around tank/s leave the tank/s peer cavities
(holes in middle
of tank/s) void
Step 6a
If the driveway is
slopping fill the tank/s peers with concrete and vibrate.
If the driveway is
flat the cavities can be fill and vibrated when the overall drive
way is poured
Connect all
inlets, overflow,pump and float electrical wiring before placing steel
ready for the
overall driveway slab to be poured (see your engineer spec)

(With yard kits
you can use some above ground pumps but these pump will need a
Foot valve to
prevent drafting/suction problems these pumps are less expensive and
do not require
electrical wiring to the tank. Make sure to get a pump with dry water
runout protection)
With yard kits it
is highly recommended to fill tank/s peers with concrete and vibrate.
Step 7a FOR YARD INSTALLS AND NON-TRAFFIC AREAS

Place 200mm of
topsoil and turf and complete any remanding plumbing or wiring.
We recommend to
install rain heads (leaf eaters) with mosquito proof mesh and
first flush
diverters between the rain heads and tank/s
Remove tape and
seal the manhole cover using flexible polyurethane sealant.
Step 7b
Complete any
remanding plumbing or wiring. Pour, vibrate and finish driveway
Concrete to
engineered specs. Install rain heads (leaf eaters) with mosquito proof mesh
and first flush
diverters between the rain heads and tank/s.
Remove tape and
seal the manhole cover using flexible polyurethane sealant.
BEFORE
USING ANY WATER OUT OF TANK/S ALLOW PLENTY
OF
TIME FOR ALL CONCRETE TO SET
(ASK
YOUR CONCRETER AS THIS CAN VARY DUE TO
WEATHER
CONDITIONS).
IF TO BE USED UNDER DECK OR HOUSE THESE TANKS CAN SIT
ABOVE GROUND ON CRUSHERDUST OR CONCRETE.
